This
week. I dunno what to say :) HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!! It sounds like it
has been a wonderful wonderful week at the Croft House. And this week
will be a wonderful one as well.
This week has been
a good one is Sisaket :) It's started getting really rainy already.
Sister Hughes and I have decided that maybe we should buy raincoats, we
realized... we didn't HAVE to get soaking wet all the time if we did!
We'll look for some today maybe :) I think the best activity to do
when it's raining is go to visit less actives, they often let you in in
the rain! So in some ways... the rain is a blessing!
Other fun facts. This week we saw fireflies. And also... Three scorpions in one day. Wow! They look so scary.
Anyway...
one of the highlights of our week this week was Zone Conference. This
week we traveled to Ubon for zone conference and had a wonderful time.
President Senior is incredible and we learned a lot about the Godhead,
and also about Repentance. It was inspiring as always.
This week Sister Hughes and I felt so blessed on
Sunday. Several of our investigators came to church... one of them, a
new investigator! Brought his wife and his son. Wow! What a happy
moment. I have the chance to sit on the stand (because I'm the pianist)
and this past Sunday I was just overwhelmed with gratitude as I looked
out on the faces of these Thai saints. Our investigators. All of these
incredible people... I feel so blessed to get to see their conversion
take place. To see at least a part of the changes that they make each
day. It's inspiring!
The picture attached is one of the sweet girls that got baptized this week. Her name is Gee!
Sorry
this email has nothing in it :) I don't know what to say this week for
some reason :) I love you all so much! I am so grateful to be in
Thailand! I still have many moments where I think "Why can I understand
what these people are saying?" or... where do these people come from?
Our efforts are certainly magnified... because I know that we couldn't
do anything without the Lord. Sometimes it's scary to think of my own
inadequacies, and the importance of the work. But I know that
somehow... God uses the weak to do miracles! He can strengthen us.
It's a joy to be able to testify of the grace of the Atonement. We are
children of God, and so we can change. We can be forgiven. We really
do have a Savior, Jesus Christ.
I love you all so much. I hope that you have an incredible week! I'm sure that you will!
Love,
Sister Croft
